How to Style The Trisha Sunnies

Sunnies are a simple accessory but they can be a starting point for creating a stylish head-to-toe lewk.

A while back, I did a series of looks that I coined Werk It Wednesday. Every week, going up on a Wednesday, I would create 3-4 looks in a collage on the gram to show how to shop your closet and style pieces you already own in multiple ways. I stopped because I hated the look of the brown carpet in my pictures and I was also low on funds and couldn't put together the studio-esque setup that I wanted. Insta. Pressure. Then I started blogging and taking street style photos. To be perfectly honest, that is not where my love for fashion lies. Street style photos are cute and all but trying to incorporate 3-4 street style looks in one day for one theme is time consuming and not really what I had in mind for my brand. I realized that if my passion is to help people look their best, develop a unique sense of style, and maximize their wardrobe; then I needed to follow my heart and do just that.

The purpose of this How to Style series is to show you how to recreate looks with items you already have in your closet instead of going out to buy something every time you have an event or special occasion. I do occasionally add new items here and there but the goal is to have a closet full of items you love and eliminate the "I have nothing to wear" factor. I hope you enjoy this series and take something from it each time I create lewks. Let me know in the comments below what you struggle with when putting outfits together or if there is a specific item you'd like to see styled multiple ways and I'll add it to the series!
